Sushant Singh Rajput Ignites The Patriotic Zeal As He Announces His New Film 'Rifleman' On Army Day

Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput is all set to star in an upcoming action drama titled 'Rifleman'. As the country is celebrating the Indian Army Day on Tuesday, January 15, the actor took to social media and announced the film. Sharing a motion poster on Twitter, the actor revealed the film narrates the story on an Indian soldier. The tagline of the film reads: 'An advancing enemy. A border to protect. 1 Braveheart.'
The motion poster of the film depicts a war scene with bombing happening all around the mountains. Sushant captioned the post saying, "An advancing enemy. The film starring Sushant 'in and as' Rifleman will be jointly produced by Abundantia Entertainment and Pooja Films and is staled for a 2019 release.
On the work front, Sushant made headlines with his spectacular performance in his latest venture 'Kedarnath'. The Abhishek Kapoor directorial also starred Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan in the lead, who marked her debut in the industry with the film.
The actor has a number of films in the pipeline for release. He will be seen in Karan Johar's 'Drive' opposite Jacqueline Fernandez and it is scheduled to hit the theatres on June 28.
Moreover, he will also be starring in 'Udta Punjab' fame Abhishek Chaubey's directorial venture 'Sonchiriya'. The multi-starrer venture is a decoit drama and also stars Bhumi Pednekar, Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in the lead. It is all set to hit the theatres on February 8, 2019. Sushant has two more ventures in his kitty including, 'Kizie Aur Manny' and 'Chhichhore', which are also slated for a 2019 release.
