Dancing on Ice Contestants 2019 - In Pictures
Gemma Collins looked visibly moved after receiving her best score yet from the Dancing on Ice judges, despite taking a major tumble during her performance.
The TOWIE star and her professional partner Matt Evers took to the ice with a routine to Celine Dion's It's All Coming Back to Me Now during tonight's show.
Despite successfully executing the majority of her moves, the 37-year-old tripped up during the dance's climactic moment, and had to be helped to her feet by Evers. Though clearly shaken by the slip-up, the pair went on to complete the routine and even managed a smile for the audience.
Collins then received her best feedback yet from the judging panel, including Jason Gardiner - despite their high profile spat during last week's show.
The GC fought back tears of disappointment, but soon cheered up as she learned that she'd received her highest score to date on the show.
"You know what, in rehearsals it was great - it was just the end," she told presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield of the fall.
She then received a positive review from judge Ashley Banjo, who told her: "You've obviously worked hard this week and that was your best skate, simple as that."
Even her former nemesis Gardiner had some compliments for Collins, telling her: "When you drop the GC and come in and you apply yourself, you have improved. There is an improvement here."
The star received a slew of sympathetic comments on social media after her fall, with fans praising how far she'd come since last week.
"Completely gutted for Gemma you can tell she really worked hard this week and it was so goodup until that point," one viewer wrote on Twitter.
"Fair play to Gemma though. What a star," another supporter wrote.
Another described her as "the gift that keeps on giving."
Others, however, were more concerned with Collins' meme potential, alluding to her famous fall at the Radio One Teen Awards in 2017. One Twitter user wrote: "Literally just sitting waiting for the Gemma Collins memes."
"Gemma Collins stacking it on Dancing on Ice has to be the funniest TV moment of 2019 so far," another claimed.
