Anil Ravipudi’s ‘F2’ seems to be emerging as the winner this Sankranti season, holding its own against ‘NTR: Kathanayakudu’, ‘Petta’ and ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’.
Starring Venkatesh, Tamannaah, Varun Tej and Mehreen Pirzada in lead roles, the comedy entertainer received good response from the audience and critics alike for its entertaining content. The film has raked in a share of Rs 25.8 Cr worldwide at a gross of Rs 41.6 Cr, with the film’s theatricals standing at Rs 32 Cr. Krish and Balakrishna’s ‘NTR: Kathanayakudu’ on the other hand has raked in a share of Rs 18.5 Cr and gross of Rs 33.6 Cr against its theatrical value of Rs 70 Cr, making it a ‘huge disaster’ according to the website. Boyapati Sreenu and Ram Charan’s ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’ has also reportedly surpassed the Rs 50 Cr mark in five days, with the hashtag #VVRBoxOfficeRampage trending on social media. A fan who was re-tweeted by the actor’s PR shared, “#VVRBoxOfficeRampage Trending In Hyderabad.
