Gully Boy Teaser Out, Ranveer Singh Rap Introduces India To Asli Hip Hop
After raising the curiosity level of the audience with the impressive posters, the makers of ‘gully boy’ finally released the teaser of the film on Friday.
Actors of the film Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt also shared a new poster and announced the date of trailer release with the teaser, which is January 9.

The video served as both an introduction to Ranveer’s character and the concept of ‘asli (real) hip-hop’.
The one and a half minute video gave a glimpse into the Zoya Akhtar directorial. Kalki Koechlin who plays a pivotal role in the movie also made an appearance here.
The teaser video had a montage of Murad's (Ranveer Singh) and Safina's (Alia Bhatt) life with a rap song going on in the background.
Alia Bhatt looked cute in hijab but is also seen getting aggressive at times, when she is seen breaking a bottle on somebody’s head.
Ranveer’s look with Kohled eyes and passion in his voice will remind you of his debut film Band Baaja Baaraat days.
From the looks of it, the film, based on the life of street rappers of Mumbai seems quite intriguing.
Gully Boy is based on the life story of street rappers Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy who are known for their song Mere Gully Mein.
The venture was co-produced by Zoya Akhtar's Tiger Baby and Excel Entertainment productions and is slated to release on February 14, 2019.
