Bollywood is like a dysfunctional family says Katrina Kaif
Katrina Kaif's role as Babita Kumari in her latest release, ZERO has gained her immense praise from the audience and critics alike. Terming her portrayal of the alcoholic and emotionally complex actress in the film; Katrina's fans feel this is her best performance so far.
The film also featured Shahrukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in pivotal roles. While Katrina's equations with her co-stars has always been spoken about; in a recent interview to a leading daily, the actress opened up about how she feels and reacts to news of her equations with various co-actors.
The Tiger Zinda Hai actor said," We are all part of this industry, and we have all been here together for a good number of years. It's almost like a dysfunctional family. You may not like some of your family members in some cases, but they are still your family members. For me, at least, it has become like that. We may not have the best relationship, but we still had a relationship for so many years."
In an industry were relations are frivolous and bonds situational; the actress spoke about how she has made some good and lasting bonds in the industry. Katrina added, "I think so. The other day I was feeling that when we go too much into the details of the equation we share with our colleagues, (with some) it is wonderful, or fun or that of angst or not-so-good."
The actor who made headlines several times during her relation and breakup with actor Ranbir Kapoor was asked if she feels that more attention should be given to her professional life as compared to her personal space the actor says," It has never crossed my mind. I still am extremely fortunate to be working with the best directors and the best co-stars, the best talent of the industry, and that's the most important thing for me."
On the professional front Katrina will now be seen paired opposite Salman Khan in Ali Abbas Zaffar's ‘Bharat'.
