Things appear to be getting back on track for KM Chaitanya in the new year, as far as his film, Aadya, the remake of the Telugu film Kshanam, goes. The film was on hold for a significant part of last year. After a brief lull, the team is ready to get back to work, what with the makers of Goodachari backing the project, and lead actors Sruthi Hariharan and Chiranjeevi Sarja giving their consent to complete work on the it.
“Sruthi had completed shooting for her portions of the film, so she will dub for it this week. I have a few days of shoot left with Chiranjeevi and he has given me five days for the same in March. We plan on wrapping up work on the film soon after,” says Chaitanya.
The film also stars Sangeetha Bhat as the other female lead. It can be recalled that Sangeetha had written in her #MeToo revelation that she has bid adieu to films and there were suggestions that some of her accusations were against members of this film. Whether she will complete work for this film is not known, but sources from the film’s unit suggest otherwise.
