Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sanya Malhotra starrer Photograph will be screened at the prestigious Berlinale 2019
Whenever an Indian Film is selected for an international event, it is a matter of pride for everyone including the cast and crew of the film. Sharing this happy news, Nawazuddin Siddiqui took to Twitter and announced that his film, Photograph which also stars Sanya Malhotra will be screened at the 69th Berlin International Film Festival also known as Berlinale 2019. The film which is directed by Ritesh Batra has already been selected for the prestigious Sundance Film Festival 2019.
The Berlin Film Festival starts in February, and on the official website, it is mentioned that Photograph starring Nawazuddin and Sanya will be screened at the fest. Even the director tweeted last night and was elated to hear the news. Nawaz wrote, “Super Excited to inform you all that after being officially selected at the prestigious #SundanceFilmFestival2019 my film #photograph will also be screened at the #berlinale2019Thank You @riteshbatra for doing this wonder & @sanyamalhotra07 for being a wonderful part of this.”

'Photograph' is the story of a struggling street photographer that is played by Nawazuddin whose grandmother forces him to find a girl and marry. Amidst the pressure, he decides to look for someone who can pose as his fiance and that is when he finds Sanya Malhotra who is a complete stranger to him. The movie will also be screened at the Sundance Film Festival 2019 which will be held between January 24 to February 3, 2019. 'Photograph' will be a part of the Berlinale Special Gala at the Friedrichstadt-Palast which will mark its European premiere.
